The client is an energy company that tracks current and historical pricing for oil products across the entire fuel supply chain and data sources are from U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA) and Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC).
Client Need
Previously there was no EIA and FERC data in the client application, hence no way to make data-driven decisions to optimize power plants and points data aggregation process. The client needed the following:
- Collect relevant EIA and FERC data and display the data on web pages in the application.
- A platforms where they can add and edit the power data and later on present to the end-users.
